World Cup: US Soccer Team Alma Maters


Now that the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa has launched, all eyes are on the players — and rightly so!

The United States men’s national soccer team has appeared in the last five FIFA World Cups, winning their way to a respectable world ranking as a soccer team.

Well, these boys weren’t always sports heroes. Many of them honed their skills playing soccer in college. (I’m sure they never had trouble avoiding the “freshman 15“!) Wondering where they got their schooling? Here’s a list of all the players who attended college and their respective alma maters.
