Great news for all you shutterbugs out there!

You could win a $500 college scholarship in University Language Services’ newest annual contest when you submit your favorite photo from your time studying outside your home country.

Whether you’re an international student in the US or a US student who has studied abroad, you know that experiencing life abroad is an amazing opportunity to get a new view of the world.

Now you can win one of four college scholarships – just for sharing a photo that captures that unique perspective.

One grand prize winner will receive a $500 college scholarship. What’s more, three runners-up will each get a $100 scholarship.

Which of your photos summarizes your experience?

Your photo can be of any subject that captures the spirit of your life in another country. You just have to be enrolled in an accredited US college or university by the fall of 2010 in order to enter.

Then explain, in 200 words or less, where you took the photo and why it sums up life in your home away from home.

The deadline for the scholarship competition is February 28, 2010. So grab your cameras and get creative!
