If you are worried that your SAT or ACT scores aren’t high enough to get into an Ivy League school like Harvard or Yale, you have plenty of company.
But that doesn’t mean you can’t attend a great school or be offered the job of your dreams.
According to Lynn O’Shaughnessy at The College Solution Blog, 99.8% of students attend non-Ivy League schools. And certainly more than 0.2% of graduates have rewarding, fulfilling careers!
Of course, attending an Ivy League school is something to be proud of, but it doesn’t determine future happiness or success. O’Shaughnessy’s statistics are a stark reminder that the options for attending a US college or university are nearly limitless, no matter your budget or field of study.
With a little research, you’ll find hundreds of great community colleges, public universities and liberal arts schools in the US. Any one of them may provide you with the education and skills for a happy and healthy future.

Pass your required US citizenship test with the help of our new study guide based on the official test questions.

I couldn’t agree with you more. Many of my friends and myself included are international students that graduated from non ivy league colleges in the US and have successful careers and happy lives.

As an international student (I’m Taiwanese), I totally agree! Just because a university has a prestigious name, doesn’t mean it provides a better education, has better environment, makes you a better person, etc.
In fact, I’m writing a research essay on this topic (due tomorrow) and I’m trying to find some extra information now.
Can’t wait to go to college~~
